A flag featuring both cross and saltire in red, white and blue

It is difficult for me to imagine that there are many places in the world which are filled with such wonderful people as at the Father Ray Foundation. People here come from every corner of the world, often with little in common other than their English language and the desire to take advantage of what privileges they have had to help people less fortunate. As a result, the six months I have spent here have been some of the most fun, fulfilling, interesting and mind-expanding I’ve spent anywhere. I think the phrase ‘life-changing’ is over-used generally, but for me it would be difficult to describe my time here without it, and I know I am not alone amongst the volunteers in thinking that. Working at the Foundation is something I would recommend to absolutely anyone.
