Father Ray Foundation

Once the celebrations for Christmas and New Year were over, the students and children attended a memorial mass to remember Father Morrissy and Father Patin.

Father Morrissy was the director of the Vocational School for People with Disabilities for many years and is remembered by his nickname, Paw Daeng, or Father Red.

Father Morrissy died in January 2003, just a few months after his friend Father Ray.

Father Patin was President of the Father Ray Foundation and passed away in January 2010 while receiving medical treatment in theUnited States.

The Mass was attended by several hundred people who all joined a ceremony to place red roses on the grave of Father Morrissy and on a portrait of Father Patin.

Both priests were a big influence on the work of the Father Ray Foundation. Their legacy is the continuing work which is improving the lives of underprivileged children and students with disabled.
