Father Ray Center for Children with Special Needs

For most of their young lives they have never learned to walk or do anything for themselves. Many children with special needs, or who are living with a disability, have never received any type of therapy which would give them a better chance of mobilizing and becoming more independent.

They lead sad lives, unable to play with brothers and sisters and not accepted into local school many spend their days lying in bed staring at the ceiling.

But when they arrive at the Center for Children with Special Needs, their sad faces are transformed into ones with big smiles.

Watching a little boy struggle to stand, with his face contorted with pain, most people would want to rush to help, to take the pain away. But as he manages to find the strength to stand he also manages to lighten up the room with his smile.
