Father Ray Children's Home

After eight years of constant use by hundreds of children each day the boy’s dormitory block at the Father Ray Children’s Home is in urgent need of renovation.

The building also houses the main dining room, and as there are no walls down two sides of the room leaving it open to the weather the walls are in need of a lick of paint.

Staff members from Thai Oil Co., Ltd paid a visit recently and arrived with large buckets of paint, rollers and paint brushes.

Within a few hours, and with the help of all the residents who are currently on holidays from school, the dining room was completely transformed from a dull and dirty room to one which is much brighter. One room done, another four floors to do.

Unfortunately, many of the young ‘helpers’ seemed to be wearing more paint than the walls they were supposed to be painting.
