Pattaya Redemptorist School for the Blind

The annual sports day competitions at the School for the Blind are always very competitive. Students take part in athletics, swimming, table tennis, goalball and futsal. Best friends compete against each other, and no matter who wins or who loses everyone remains friendly.

The day started, as usual, with the students parading behind the marching bands.

But this year the sporting competitions took second place to the competition to see which team had the best cheerleaders.

There was plenty of cheering when the sports were taking place but nothing compared to the amount of noise when the two cheerleading squads performed their routines. The noise was deafening, but the kids were having a great time.
