Father Ray Day Care Center

Macha Bucha Day is one of the biggest Buddhist festivals of the year. It is a day when people make merit, visit their local temple and offer alms to the monks.

At each temple, the believers will light candles, carry flowers and parade around the temple several times.

The toddlers at the Day Care Center are a bit young to be carrying candles around temples, so instead they carried flowers around the chapel, all dressed in traditional costume they all looked beautiful.

Attempting to get sixty young children to walk in single file with hands held together in front of them, and in silence, was never going to be easy, especially when one little boy walked into a small fish pond.

He survived, was dragged out by one of the nannies and continued on his way around the temple.
