Father Ray Center for Children with Special Needs

The Wai Khru ceremony takes place in each year June, on any day your choose, as long as it is a Thursday.

The Wai, is the Thai custom of placing two hands together and giving a slight bow as a mark of respect, and Khru is the Thai word for teacher, so it is the day the children pay their respects to their teachers.

They design and make beautiful and ornate floral arrangements which they presented to Father Michael and brother Withaya, who represented the teaching faculty and accept the floral designs on behalf of the teachers.
