Redemptorist Vocational School for People with Disabilities

The annual Mahatai Academic Games took place recently and while most of the students are friends with each other, this event brings a lot of fierce competition.

The Computer Business in English students spent the morning competing against each other in a series of competitions where they had to use on the English language. These games included a general knowledge  quiz, a spelling test, a listening exercise and the final game was a news reading competition.

At the same time the students on the Electronic Repair course where given the task of setting up a satellite dish and ensure that a connection could be made to the local satellite TV channels, not an easy task considering they were given just 15 minutes to complete the task.

These games are designed as fun for the students, but also the opportunity to put their new knowledge and skills into practice.
